MRND and Calculus tutorials today. Calculus, was blah.

Good thing it only lasted 1 hour..Help! how am i ever gonna pass this subject...Hhhhelp!
MRND isn't as boring, cos what we were doing could be related back to the main event..In a way, yes. I'm looking forward to organizing the entire event as a class..but does the distance not put anyone off?

One thing's for sure, i probably will be seeing Sam or Shereen quite often. The CC's just right beside their house, if i get it right.

I'm going town with Clara tomorrow. YAY! I can't wait to see her, and shop ( i really really hope we have enough time!), and STARWARS! Does shops close at midnight tomorrow too? Please?

In my bid to look more 19, i shall also start to wear nice blouses and shoes that make me an inch taller togther with bags that do not make me look like im selling Walls ice-cream. yay!

Wild Wild Wet is damn cool. Except that the rides are quite little..
Anyway, that SlideUP is way cool...It's so highhh, and it's really easy to get addicted to that feeling of dropping from like what, 3 stories?
I kept wanting to go back for more, but Ally din feel so well. Her head was spinning, and nauseous. All the signs that tell you you're aging. I'm kiddin Ally.
So i went the on the second ride with Jean, and i guess that's all she could take..But i was still wanting more...haha.
There was also the 6 persons ride..I dun recall the name..It's the one where 6 people get on a Huuge tube and slide off to the end.
Ya, that. It was kinda adrenaline pumping too, but just in the initial part where we were dropped off a greater tangent.
Yes, everyone screamed.
Haha.
Let me tell you what's more adrenaline pumping..All the people working there, specifically the malay dudes. Haha.
I wasn't wearing my lenses, but it shouldn't differ too much..They all have fantastic bodies. Wheet. Like bronzed, and toned, and just plain fantastic.
But then again, i said my lenses weren't on.
Haha.
other rides we went for include, the river where we just drift along..but since it was so crowded and cramped..it was more like just shoulder to shoulder...unless, you manage to get on a rubber tube, that is. Then, that would be foot to foot...Oh, and the Waterworks. Longg hollow tubes of slides where we get propelled forward by jets of water. That was fun too, we kept going back for more.
Haha.
We didn't go for the mid air cycling, cos we din see the point..I thought the ride would way cooler if we cycled and cycled to this end where they flip the bike and toss us in the water.
But no.
Just cycle to and cycle fro.
Oh wells.
And the tidal wave pool which sickly reminded me of the tsunami..and the waves made Ally nauseous equally. Din spend a lot of time there, cos it got pretty boring..
Basically, that's all that's in store. Cos we got there about 2pm, it was 6pm pretty soon and we decided we had our fair share of chlorine and sun..
Bathe..and i surprisingly found out there are lots of cubicles to bathe in..compared to the old ones, where hundreds of people were supposed to queue and wait for ...5 cubicles?6?
But it seems having huge toilets aren't all that great. Jean lost her phone in there while we left our stuff on the bench to get our lenses in..and Ally was still taking her bath.
But she didn't realise it until when they got to the bus stop..and by then, i guess the hope of getting it back is already as slim as the Sony Hd3.
They went back to try their luck, nontheless..but all the people could help was to let her fill in this loss report.
I guess, we really should have been more careful..
And i think i was really lucky mine remained intact, the only reason i can think off is that the culprit was too lazy to go through my ginormous bag of messy wet clothings, and what nots.
And although there wasn't much swimming involved, we were as hungry as...heck. (cos no one had lunch for fear of puking halfway through the rides)
After the entire day spent, half of them in water..i went to TM to meet mum..She wants to do some shopping..and i didn't think the sale is that great..
Or is it just me..?
It seems to be the same, cos S'pore apparently has an ongoing sale throughout the year..
Or maybe the best part of the sale only comes towards the end of the season.
Like the ' keep the best for the last'..? Along those lines.
So, the bottomline is that mum didn't get any huge bargains, neither did i.
Until, maybe when i go hit the town with Clara on Tuesday..and Yay! we get to watch StarWars then.

What a week,and we survived it.
That must mean a good start, yes?
Anyways, school was as per normal today..Went for HR Dev tutorial and CEM/MRND lecture and the bloody event of the day-
The Business Day
Sheesh. It was crappy enough, as if we were still primary 4? I'm not even gonna say freshmen. Maybe it doesn't sound that bad, let me fill you in.
Playing with waterbombs. Ok, it was a little more fun than the other, cos we had the power to make others wet. Haha.
Anyway, i got this junior wet with all my misses( on the garbage), but hits on her...I swear it wasn't intentional.

After that, we were made to BLOW BALLOONS! Freaking balloons, cos i get freaked out easily

1. when they burst when you are blowing,
2. when they drop and fly away and ...
3. when they get pressed on your back ( threatening to burst)!

We were made to do all the three above.
And after 2 games, it seems that's all they have.
Oh well, how eventful...And i'm not even gonna get started on how scorching the sun was today..
Like 10 times the blaze.
You might even hear the crackling sound on our heads if we kept really quiet.
Haha. Ok, i'm exagerating.
Oh yah, i saw this cute AA in school today, who happens to be Elias' junior. haha. Nice..

I'm going Wild Wild Wet tomorrow, can i please ask for no rain.. It's been postponed for weeks, and seriously, i dun want to go on Christmas.
Sale starts today, clara is resting probably due to jet lag. (what lag?!) I gave her the day off. haha. With tomorrow down, it means shopping doesn't begin till Sunday.

The skinny , smart guy who wear glasses winsss The Contender championship.
I'm not surprised at the results from the way Peter fought.
WHATS with all the hugging and body locking? In case you didn't watch, this is how it looked like throughout the 7 rounds. Peter (the shorter one) was constantly burying his face in Sergio( the winner and the skinner one) and secretly throwing him punches..while Sergio just had to punch his head. Easy peasy.
So it got pretty boring, but i was just hoping for a miracle for Peter. He only deserves to win, probably cos he has such a cute daughter..I so want to pinch those cheeks of hers. Haha!
But in the end, the judges obviously didn't think having a cute daughter is enough reason to win the million dollar, so that explains the very first sentence of this entry.
Which i shall kindly repeat, SERGIO WINS!
Of course, it wasn't just the 2 of them fighting during the 2 whole hour, there was the match for Bronze..between Jesse and Alfonso.
It was hard, cos i wanted Jesse to win..cos he is funny, but Alfonso looked like he was more hard up for that 200 k.
Why can't Jesse win the title and Alfonso get the cash?
Not right? Oh well, that's no wonder Alfonso won that match. Title and all that moolah..!$$
Oh, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake were at Caesars Palace LIVE to catch the match too.

Went back school today at freaking 9am! only to realise that there was no lecture today. Tsk. Big waste of time (and sleep). But still, we managed to buy our M.A textbook..and we better be using that book more than 5 times..
All the books i've bought don't last me for more than 5 times. How worth it.
After trying to drag the time past 10, we decided to go TM and hopefully time passes faster there. Went for breakfast @ Mac, despite having eaten my sandwich. Now it's getting pretty obvious how all that excess bulge comes about.

I need to buy some self control, discipline, self constraint.
And i caught Monster-in-law with Jane..at the hour most shops aren't even open yet. Haha.
It was pretty alright. Let's say..4 peaches. yea.
Jennifer Lopez seemed to have aged in the movie tho, but she still looks waaay better than us, mere mortals.
I like that Ruby best, haha..! Funny like heck.
Jane and i went on some sort of hair ties frenzy..buying clips and all..haha. We should do this more often..I'm sounding like some big vainpot. haha

On a less excited note, there is something called the Business Day tomorrow. Sounds like sports day from the way they expect us to be attired.

SO ridiculous, it was difficult to convince Angie about it. She refuses to believe something like that is permitted to happen. Haha.
The Business Day doesnt benefit us a lot, cos we still have classes in the early morning from 9 till 2, while the whole business day thing doesn't start till 2.30pm.
I think Managerial Accounting lecture is gonna be more interesting.

-GINA- Today, i return to school..and surprisingly, being only the second day of the new school semester, the school was anything but crowded and packed, filled to the brim with people and everyone choking for air.
Nope, nothing like that.
Anyway, i got Biz Calculus into my timetable..Whee! First lecture of the semester kicked off with Managerial Acoounting ..but it was quite a dull one to begin with..
Maybe i just dun like Accounting that much...And if you were wondering, the lecture hasn't gone full fledged yet..There were still no numbers, tables, balancing of figures today.
Just plain words..wordss.more wordsss.
Since the lecture ate into 3 plus, i had to give the NE talk a miss. Damn, now i gotta keep a lookout for more NE talks to come..
Slacked around until 4 at the canteen, before going for Calculus lecture..Oh, And met Rachel Khoo from SAC in the canteen. Isn't she like, suposed to be in MJC?

Calculus lecture was kinda fun, in the sense we were back to doing Mathematics, but it's not as if i adore maths. Not even close to liking it, mind you.
Except it has been so long since we touched algebra and sort. So yah..rrrusty.

Went town yesterday, and it was so miserable to window shop.. but it beats sitting at home.
It's such a chore to have to wait for the sale to begin to actually buy stuff, cos it always suck to return to the very same place to find out that top you've empty one week's allowance on is now on half price.

Met Jane as early as 12.30pm to go town..was supposed to be earlier but i overslept. As usual. Haha..and upon reaching, i saw Jane standing by those ez-link top-up machine...with one of the SMRT staff...Only to find out her Ezlink card was stuck inside the machine. Haha.

haha. That was something funny to start the day.
Only after we passed the gates.. SHIT. I forgot to drop off that very important letter at the letter box.

Got to Orchard-Lido, booked our tix for Amityville Horror @ 2.45pm and went off to Mos Burger for lunch, but as always.. it's as packed as if they are giving free food..
Oh well, the only thing to do next would be to up our business to across, Yoshinoya.
My salmon bowl din go down the throat very well, cos it was so dry and urghh. Just plain dry.
And indeed, Jane forgot to remind me to post my very important letter on our way to Mos.

After lunch, we headed back to Lido (this time, she reminded me about the letter!) and strolled around..Topshop, MNG, Levis girls..Jane had her eyes on this green.. yes, green top from MNG..I thought she already has something like that. Just like she thinks i have a couple of those skirts and those white tops..

I have to keep reminding myself to might as well wait for the coming sale. That would be most wise.

Oh. yah..And at that underpass that links the MRT station to Lido, there were like, 8-10 people dancing as if there were no tomorrow. I dunno if they were basking , or promoting some kind of new club? Shoes? Perfume??
I really have no idea, except they scared a couple of old ladies who walked past them when they danced right up to them. Haha.
And at the landing of the escalators, people clad in fairy costumes, with clipped on fairy wings were giving out samples. Yea, perfume samples.
So. at least we know what this was for.
haha. and just outside Polo Ralph, there were drummers and all sorts of noise coming.
Sounds like street fiesta, the whole thing eh?

Amityville Horror wasn't so much of a horror was compared to those warning to consumers bout the movie : gore and horror.
The story's there. the gore is kinda there..but the shock factor is SO there.
Jane got a shock in one of the scenes. JANE!

But overall, i'd give it say, 3 peaches?

After the movie, we trottled down to Heeren..and the sight of Churros outside Marche simply made me crave..oooh. that sugar and cinnamon.

Besides, Guess! was having some mid year sale.
Saw Fiona Xie filming some tv programme and we were very careful not to get into their way. TV makes you put on ten pounds. Who hasn't heard?

And we took neoprints....! It was so funny, cos we din know how to operate those japanese techie machines, so this lady was helping us choose the options and all...
And when she was done, she din leave..! She stayed inside, while we took our pictures..That was so weird..SO weird.
So, in a way our pictures din come out looking like 'we-are all alone'. It seems more like, 'when-is-she-going out?'
Hahaa. But it was great fun.. I lurrve the one with the car, jane. Haha.

After it all, we retreated to Jane's church, cos they were having BBQ..and being the glutton that i am..i tagged along.

At the church, I felt kinda like a sore thumb when they started singing hymns, cos obviously my mouth wasn't moving..They were singing so fast, i couldn't catch even by looking at the lyrics book.
Maybe it's just my chinese. I need to do something or nobody's gonna believe i took PRC mandarin as CDS
haha.. When her church teacher asked if i was chinese or mixed blood, it should already sound like a warning to brush up my mandarin.

It slowly became fun, cos Kat and Christina are really funny people. ( I seriously hope i din get your name wrong)
They were hilarious, and it was a good evening spent..
Slowly everyone left, and so did we..close to 10 plus.

Dunno if anyone caught the 9pm show on Ch8..cos i thought the ideas the show was trying to portray of Hell is extremely hilarious..The dead have to pay COE for the paper cars that their families burnt for them, and to pay a exorbitant amount of 'protection fee', which in this case is to protect their living family.

XX Overslept this morning..must have mistook my mobile's alarm for Al's..cos he always lets it ring for so long, until my mum shakes him up..It also didn't help that Hiqdir had to message me at an unearthly hour at 3am..that he cannot make it to work today, cos he had to take his grandma to the clinic due to an asthma attack.
But still, i managed to get to work on time..By on time, i mean just 10 minutes late...but it's FINE, cos i met Auntie Happy in the toilet anyways.

Suffered from Amazing Race withdrawal symptom last night..but it barely lasted 5 mins, cos there was this programme on Ch 8 about A-Zs of dieting and losing weight..They had this girl on the show who has tried desperate measures to drop pounds..but to no avail and then they step in to help her lose that crazy 6kg..
Seriously, i din even think that girl is fat..they should choose me! me!
Free sessions of those therapy and massage to make you drop the excess, i want too..!

On the topic of losing weight, Al and i were into out usual trash talking one night before we slept..and so he was asking me to get him the Limited Edition Anakin Skywalker lightsabre for him, which by the way costs a hefty $534. (He saw it on FIRST mag)
To pull myself out of the situation and not appear to be the stingy and evil sister from hell, i said 'only if u can make me drop 10kg'
And he suggested that i pick up a 10kg pig or sack of rice, whatever and dropped it.
There, his idea of dropping 10kg..
Haha. It might sound pretty lame here.. but you have to take into consideration he passed that comment close to midnight, (he's not a night person). haha.
I'd say he's pretty witty.

This is quite a long blog especially when there's nothing special to blog about..Till that.

-gina- Yesterday was fun..although it was such a short time..Clara and I were practically hustling through the crowd.. After dinner and all, (and realising we dun have much time), we decided we would only go relevant shops.
By relevant, both clara and i mean all the shops...You can see it, cos it's only after we pop into certain shops and trying thngs we dun actually need..Then you'll see either Clara or me pulling the other outta the shop.
Oh wells, it was hilarious.
She's leaving for China Friday, so yesterday was also like a toiletries shopping for her, with my expertise help.
Haha..She was shopping Watson's like she hasn't been to their $1.99 galore before..Oh, and she raised this thought provoking question...
What is the difference between guys shaving cream and girls shaving creams as well as their shavers?
I didn't give her an answer..I couldn't find one..
But i told her to try, and by then i'll probably know..cos it might get a lil too obvious when she starts sprouting guys hair.

Anyway, went shopping with Ally on Saturday and we practically combed the entire island's Coach boutiques...from Taka to DFS and back to Taka and finally to paragon.
She finally settled on her lil black bag there, while parting with her $425.
It's so small, she couldnt get her wallet in...but somehow when i went to gran's yesterday..she had this 'pleased-with-herself' look on her face and told me, 'i got it in.'
Oh wells, i knew she would figure a way. Her way. haha. (and yes, the bag is still in one piece)

Gina Such a busy day today, i have almost no time to blog, except in between doing some OT calculations.
Cos y'know..Wednesdays always set us into a frenzy the day before..if you have read the previous entries, you'd know.
So, yesterday was jack's birthday...and guess what? Her friends got her the LEVIS Squarecut jeans. yah..the one i wanted. If only i could get her to change the size to 27..hehe
I could save on the dough and splurge it on something else!
What an evil thought, eh.
And the cake-Swensen's cookies and cream ice cream cake. I BOUGHT IT. *beams*
haha. so, everything fell into place after dinner. Takes out cake, sing song, blow, cut, eat....
so i was given this very piece with something pink lying in a conspicious spot on my cake, and i happily put in into my mouth along with the all that ice cream , only to find out, FUCK, it's a piece of PINK CANDLE WAX.
And that was not until i bit it into a gazillion bits, mind you. Oh hell. and i swear i swallowed some of that crap.
