I hope that i could one day see the 'ahh, life IS beautiful'.

I just wonder when it's gonna happen. Sometimes...
things just ain't rosy as it appears to be.

And of all the times i thought i was right, this proved me wrong.

Of all the choices to make, i had to screw this up.

It's all SIP's fault.
Duh.
Everyday, i fight the temptation to wind the clock all the waaaaay to 5.15pm.
Balance 15 mins for me to pack up and go toilet.
hahaa.
That would be SO ideal.
Now, i have to go for driving in the weirdest hours, like 7 or 8pm.
Which comes up to about 10pm by the time i actually reach my block.
Which also adds up to about 12pm by the time i sleep..giving me 61/2 hrs until i start my next day.

How can i not be tired?

Clara, you 've been back so long already and you have yet to call me out. I stare at my phone everyday and wait for your call y'know.
hahaha.
(Ok, maybe not everday..haha)
Still, we should go out real soon. ALRIGHT?

Met up with the usual suspects after work on Monday for Fish & Co.
Didn't get to do any shopping like i wanted tho.

I'm so glad tomorrow's the weekend. At long last. ahhhh...
I can sleep past 12, and nobody's gonna have anything to say.
Not one single alarm clock will bloody ring.


Mimi's still in hospital.
Went to visit her with Jane a couple of days back.

I don't like visiting friends in the hospital, so you better rest well and we'll be hitting the towns again, y' hear me??
It hurts to see you on the bed, when we were actually supposed to go out sometime soon.

My pilot show finally ended. It's been a hell of a time chasing the show, i'm only glad it's over.
Now, i can get back and concentrate on my ANTM and AMAZING RACE.
It's only about time.

Bangkok, Bangkok, Bangkok...

Bangkok is FUN!
I guess the company plays a part too. So i'm pretty glad i went with Ally and her colleagues..
We had tons of laughs and fun, except i think we need to tone down a little in the future ..
(Ally will know why) HAHA
This is gonna be long, just hang in there .

Shopping:
We went Chatuchak weekend market ..It's enormous, gigantic, simply ginormous.. i'm telling you. If i could, (and if they'll open for more than just Saturday and Sunday), i'll keep going back there.
Seriously, i doubt i even covered 1/10 of the vast area.. It's SO hugeeee. Plus circumstances didn't really permit me to continue covering the entire shopping area.
Read: Damon and Mr Han. ( I don't think they will chance upon this)
hahaa.
I wished i had more time. Ally, i think we should go back soon..
Anyway, it's only 1.55 hrs flight. Haha
We went MBK too..Angie mentioned MBK has loads of things, but like nothing much leh..MBK looks like parkway parade on the external...
hey...come to think of it, it looks like Parkway Parade inside too.
so, it's just Parkway Parade in BKK. haha
And it's quite funny, they have an entire level selling handphones..In a way, i give them credits for their organized mapping of the mall.
Shopping at BKK is quite challenging, cos how much u pay for your items depends on how skilled you are at slashing prices.
And, it seems Ally is damn good at it.
hahaa, altho sometimes she loses patience at them..
hahaa
Hunted for Angie's Birks there, cos i cant find any size 34 anywhere. (I still couldn't find any 34)
Went Siam Square for shopping and dinner on the 3rd night. (Thai Cuisine if you really must know)
Went World Trade Centre on the 3rd day to buy undies and all. They have Isetan there, along with MNG, Levi's, Espirit and all.
Didn't get any of 'em, cos they're all similar to Singapore's. (including the price, if not more)
hahaa

Weather:
Bangkok is scorching hot. Period.
If you think Singapore is hot, BKK is boiling..seriously.
I had it bad.
I cant take extreme heat. (as well as the smell, the dirt, the air, the food...............)
haha

Food:

Get a clue?
maybe that's practically how i lost the 3 kg.
Maybe i should stay in Thailand for good.
This way, i might be able to hit my 48 goal faster...

Transport:
Bus, Sky Train, MRT, Chartered mini van, taxis and my personal favourite, Tuk Tuks..
hahaa..
It's really faaaast, and they speed on purpose. Trust me. They go even faster when you shriek.
But...it's very dirty to ride on it..
It practically blackens your face as the ride against that polluted air.
Oh yes, the sky train.. They are still using the oldd fare card system where you punch the value of the card and purchase the card of that specific value..
The kind of bendable fare cards...ring any bell?
Go there if you're feeling nostalgic. hahaaha

The gang:
The people i went with are kinda fun.. Lucky for Ally, they're so jokable and adjustable..HAHA.
Ally, remind you of anyone?? Hahaha
Plus travellin without parents is utter bliss.
Imagine shopping without restrictions.
Damn, i really think the whole trip should have been longer..
We all stayed at Twin Towers hotel..I thought it was ok la. Since we didn't stay in the hotels a lot, it's only good that the hotel is near MBK and Siam Square..

Notice there are only pictures of the hotel and the airport..I forgot to bring my cam out into the streets, which is actually quite a waste..I think the stretch of road at Siam Square looks pretty good at night cos it is lighted up..
haha, Next time, i guess. (and hope)

I realised this entry looks very much like, a Thailand tourism brochure.
Come on, i'm much more interesting.
