Not as easy as before, but I still love you guys aight.
Anywaaaaaays, have a fantabulously orange birthday babe.
You deserve all the marmalade in the world!
It's finally Friday tomorrow.
Yay!
I'm so close to jumping.
Speaking of jump, I thought of my alltime favourite Yo mama jokes.
cracks me up e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e
"Yo' mama is so fat, when she jump for joy.
She got stuck."
"Yo' mama is so fat, when she walked across the TV.
I missed 3 episodes."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA.
You were born 20 years today, Sweets!
Wednesday, August 30 8:22 PM
HAPPY BIRRRRRRRRRRTHDAY MEL!
STAY PRETTY, LOVELY AND COME BACK TO ME FAAAAST AIGHT.
HAVE A FANTASTIC 20TH DOWN UNDER!
XoXoXo
Went back to work today...and it's good to know the week begins on a Wednesday!
Hahaha
It's already Thursday tomorrow, and Friday ...and Saturday!
I'm gonna catch The Devil Wears Prada on Sat, and possibly meet Diana on Sunday for dinner if nothing crops up.
I can't emphasize enough how i lurrrve short weeks.
Rained at lunch, and ended up semi drenched by the time I got back to the office.
4 of us, but only 1 brolly.
Andy offered me his New Paper.. but seriously, it's not gonna make a lot of difference.
hahaha
And just when I thought that's bad. Guess what??
It rained when I was going home.
Sorry, rained is not the word to use.
It's friggin close to a thunderous blizzard and flood all at the same time.
I had a brolly, mind you..but the fuckin' wind works against me.
This time, I would be grateful to be SEMI drenched.
I was soaked to my friggin toes.
Imagine- I actually contemplated to skip the umbrella to work this morning, since it hasnt been raining in a while.
I'm a happppppppppy girl. Yes, despite the fucking downpour.
When it rains, it pours.
BANGKOK-Take 2!

IM BACK from BKK (again)! And I desperately wanna know what I missed out on these 4 days!As much as you guys wanna know what you've been missing out on these 4 days!HAHAACan't believe it's over so soon. The much hyped about 26th August is like what, 3 days ago!Anyways, Friend and I went to catch Snakes on a Plane after going to his church and before making our way to his place to collect the luggages and then to the airport. (We're damn free, I know)Hahah. and SoaP is reallly bad in my opinion. For one, I could really relate to the passengers on board the dreaded South Pacific airline, I too wanted the plane to land as soon as freaking possible. hahahSamuel L. Jackson should just stick to playing Mace Windu. I like him better with a light sabre than a snake zapper. And no thanks to Friend who suggested we catch SoaP in anticipation of the flight later in the night.Always count on him for lousy movie recommendations and inaccurate reviews. We went budget and took AirAsia...which is really not too bad actuallly. Better than FinnAir(with Ally)in fact!Taking off and lading was smooth, helps that journey was only 2 hours. So, I've no complaints!Touched down at Bkk about Midnight. (They're one hour behind us, btw)Hopped on a cab (Their cabs are all Toyata Altis!) and got ourselves checked in into Ambassador's Hotel. Planned the itinerary for next day's shopping and watched StarMovies till we both hit lala land.hahaha.(And their cable reception sucks)Sunday Morning!Went Chatuchak Market!Took the BTS subway alllllll the way from Nana station (where our hotel is) to Mo Chit where Chatuchak is. Haha, I know! They erected an entire subway station after me! hahahaFriend said he allocated the entire day for me at CTC, but we were out after bout 1pm..hahaaThe only good thing having him around is that, he's good with directions. Period. And guess what, with that intense heat and all that crowd, the moment we stepped out of CTC, he threw up over the grass patch!hahahahdamn lousy man! I couldnt stop laughing. hahahahaaAnd he insists he was merely overwhelmed by the sudden supply of fresh air and vast space when we exited.HAHA. Don't even get me started on it again. After which, we took the BTS again...and went Siam Paragon.Guess what? We were so beat, so sweaty, so tired. We decided to catch a movie at Siam Paragon Cineplex! hahaYes, it's in English.Me, you & Dupree. It's frigggin cheap y'know!Everything with popcorn, drinks, first class seats for only 14 Sing? I can't get 2 tickets here for that price.
The seats were wide enough to put my entire leg on top and they were leathered..Needless to say, with that kind of amenities, I dozed off through the movie.SO technically I didn't watch it. All I knew was it starred Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson.
HahahaaAnd it's a form of protocol for Thais to sing their national anthem before a movie, which gave me a shock.I though there was some sort of evacuation when everyone stood up.Hahaha Finally after movie ended, we continued our high end shopping at Paragon, Siam centre and Siam Discovery. Anyway for trivia, a N73 w/o line is like, 20,000 Bahts and a Ferrari would set you back at 74,000 Baht/month. (Do the math, divide it by 23.6)Didn't get anything in the end...so dinner at Pizza's company sounded like a good idea.Their lasagne is prettty nice. And, we did not have a single Thai food during the whole 3 days! I'm so proud of Friend for that. But sometimes, that loser drives me up the wall. Me: Shall we take a Tuk Tuk down to MBK?Friend: NO.Me: Huh? You come to Bkk and you don't wanna ride a Tuk Tuk? Scared IS IT??Friend: No la...I promised Daddy Sng tour safety and wellness, so no Tuk Tuks. Me: WHATever man.
WHICH he told me only when we landed in Singapore about 4 hours ago that he has a phobia of 3 wheels.WHAT only. Next time, I'll bring another friend who is more daring to Bkk.This Friend can just accompany Daddy to China to watch some artists paint birds.Monday!Buffet Breakfast at Am's Cafe, headed out to MBK, World Trade , Big C and all.Walked so many places till I can hardly remember.Considering the fact that it's Friend's 1st trip, he's pretty good in navigating his way around.Almost everyone thought he was local! (Which pissed him off big time)
hahahahahThey greeted me in struggling English while they whipped into effortless conversation with him in Thai!HahahahAnd, Bangkok is practically a sea of yellow, cos everyone is still in the celebratory mood of the King's anniversary. They have a special yellow polo tee with some royalty symbol.EVERYONE has it. EVERYONE wears it.On the streets. In the malls. On the bridge. On the roads. On the subway. In the hotels. You don't have to even realise it, it's staring right in ya face.HahahaAnd traffic is really a killer. Imagine - cars travelling in opposite direction on the same side of the road.HahahahaI shall post pictures up so you all can see.HahahaI doubt I'll survive driving there for even 1 day.HahaaAnd we saw a jewellry shop at our Hotel Lobby. PORN GEMS.Trust me.Friend bought his Soflens Comfort there, which is relatively cheap compared to here...But still got ripped off he realised..(cos another shop at World Trade was selling cheaper than MBK)HahahSlight hiccup with his HSBC cash withdrawal..but thankfully banks are open till 7pm there! So we still got out Bahts and continued our spree.hahaFollowed by dinner at Tang's Terrace. Fish and Chips only 100 Bahts, which is ridiculously cheap.I don't know what they earn.hahaPacked up a little for today's check out.Snoozed until we were almost late!Tuesday!Woke up to hotel's wake up call cos my phone battery died on me.Packed. Buffet Breakfast. Check Out.Got to airport, flight was delayed by an hour and a half.Friend was convinced it's an omen. Everything's an omen. Even 3 wheels on the freaking Tuk Tuks are an omen. What only.Finallyfinally touched down at 4pm.I so do not look forward to working tomorrow.I imagine my inbox to be flooded, in tray bursting, people queuing to look for me.HahahaBut whatever it is, the past 3 days were really well deserved break. Can't wait till Hong Kong 2007.Friend promised to sponsor for my 21st birthday.Lo and Behold, Disneyland awaits.

Tuesday, August 22 10:24 PM
Nothing in particular to blog about today. It's well just, a Tuesday.Which makes tomorrow well just, a Wednesday. But until 2 hours later, it's still VERY WELL, a Tuesday.okok, I'll shut up. Soon.Anyways, I accompanied Alvin after work to buy his sports bag today..(the same one Jack got on Friday, except his is in grey) and to get dinner. And I realised my brother's pretty witty in his retort at times. hahaaWhen Mum asked him, why he went to get the bag when it's a last piece..he says someone has to clear their stocks for them. I don't know about you, but I think my brother has that potential to develop the Compulsive Shopper's with that sorta mindset.hahaha! One thing's for sure, we're siblings! And! I saw the new Chevrolet Spark on the promotional launch!SO nice!I like!I sms-ed my mum, but she didn't reply. So smart. And I showed her the website..but her reponse being: You are just looking for another March lookalike.I am??Fine, I am.Go, check it out.http://www.chevrolet.com.sg/content_data/AP/SG/en/GBPSG/001/flash/index.htmlI like the Electric Yellow. So pretttty. And I haven't even started to pack for my trip. I like Boston by Augustana. This entry is so random.I'm a hopeless blogger.
Funnny Weekend
Monday, August 21 9:56 PM
So it goes.....
Alvin and I were watching TV on the settee on Sunday, and I can't rememeber what we were watching, but we're betting on something (which we do about 500 times on a regular day)
Me: I bet with you, 200 Sing (I said Sing cos Alvin Sng likes to later use Rupiah, Rupee, Renmingbi whatever on me when he loses)
Alvin: OK! I bet with you, 200 Shout.
Me: ???
Alvin: TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!
Trust me, I almost died laughing.
Tell me it's funny. And on Saturday, I was having dinner with Friend at Yoshinoya @ GWC.And his food gotta wait, y'see..So I started on my drophair-salty miso soup first while he helped poke straws into the drinks and all.Friend: Need me to help me pluck the chopsticks apart for you also is it?
Me: Go ahead, and please..help me shave a bit
When I glanced up, Friend was shaving the wrong end of the chopsticks.
(Y'know, the end where we hold)
HAHAHAA.
Me: Why the hell you shaving that end?? And risk splinters in your mouth?
Friend: Oh.Oh.OhWHAT ONLY.I love these people man...HAHHAHAHAA
So you think you're lucky?
Sunday, August 20 2:15 AM
At least now there's ONE more person in this world who thinks I'm lucky. And, I'm not part of that minority anyway. So here's the juice. Friend came to pick me up around 4, and drove near Holy Trinity to pay his homage to Singapore Pools, and demanded (as usual) for 4 numbers. But this time, it was slightly different. He said, ' Come, we play a game. You shade 4 numbers in yourself. DO NOT tell me, I won't sneak a peep until results are out. We'll see if you're realllllly that lucky.'Trust me- he has made some with my help recently. So fine, I gave him my sidekick's extension number, glady. (which he never knew of course)And we went to TM.Didn't get my Charles & Keiths, neither did I find the Espirit skirt. So we marched down Parkway.Got my pumps and found the skirt! But they still didn't have my Tenth Circle at MPH.And Friend thought the skirt wasn't nice compared to another @ Fond Hugs. "It emphasizes your already wide hips."So fine, thought I'll think about it. It's freaking 80 bucks anyway.By the time we got back into the car, it was slightly past 7.Friend demanded (again) for 4D results. I texted, it came.Scanned through the sea of numbers which really, just looks the same week after week. And then I saw!My number! 1st prize! 1st FREAKING prize! For all that estactism, Friend merely glanced at me deadpans, 'yah yah yah' before making a right turn into main road. And when he realised I didn't burst into my usual, 'Gave you a shock, didn't I?'He stopped. (probably emergency brake) He checked. STRIKE ONE. So I offered a truce. A peace treaty. Here's the deal. That I'll give him the 2 bucks he outlayed in exchange for MY winning ticket. But any sane idiot wouldn't do that. Friend happend to be sane. The deal fell through, dammit. But I went ahead to write my name and I/C on the winning slip, so literally he can't claim without me! HahahaAccording to him, I'm a first class prick. (I couldn't care less)
But it turned out, he wasn't so heartless, so I came home with more stuff than I left home with. And let's just say.. somehow the Espirit skirt didn't seem to emphasize my wide hips after 7pm at Great World City. STRIKE TWO.
HahaAnd even though The Breakup was really bad in my opinion, I'm reallly not complaining. (Except I couldnt get my new JP, which means no book to read on Monday, no complaints, really)HahaaWith zero.zilch.nil. experience in buying 4D or even venturing near the booth, to collect prize money was a little less far fetched than saying pigs can fly. While I have a bit of luck dust left on the third strand of hair behind my left ear, I'll go dream of more numbers tonight.STRIKE THREE?
Friday, August 18 11:44 PM

It's a Good Friday. (Not that Good Friday, silly)Day passed without a hitch, even though sidekick went on half day. Met the entire family for dinner, and I was early!hahahaWent Times supposedly to buy new book (I finished The Pact!) but they didn't have the Jodi Picoult title I want.HOW CAN IT BE?
Last time I went @ Marina, there were 7 or 8 titles!Today @ TM, There were only 2 miserable titles, one even being torn.I shall get The Tenth Circle at town tomorrow..The Pact is superblysuperbly nice.I now make Jodi Picoult my favouritest author. Everyone please go read it. I'm planning to hunt that dvd down. Somehow.hahaaAnd Mum bought me a dress from MANGO, which I liked it so much, but costs 89 buckaroos. When I reluctantly placed it back on the rack after trying, she went ' Quick, want not?'I don't remember grabbing anything faster in my life.hahahaIt's so pretttty. I can't think when I should wear it.Next week no commencement leh.Al bought polo tees from the Converse Sale at TM concourse, Jack bought a (yah, you guessed right) sports bag and Mum got new shoes. So we all got stuff. Except Dad.But he got dinner! Is that considered?hhahaSpeaking of shoes, I'm going back Charles & Keith to get 2 pairs I saw earlier today, but didn't get..cos the sales staff obviously had some problem getting my instructions.I got a bit fed up. Hahaa.Wrong colour, Right size.Wrong size, Right colour.Wrong size, Wrong colour.Wah, cannot take it. It's too intense for my already thin patience. I told her I'll come back again. (More like when it's her day off) Hahaha, I'm super mean man.And I saw nice Adidas jacket! Yay.
We'll go see tomorrow k. SEE only, promise.hahaAnd i bought an OP T-shirt, don't even ask.Last I knew, I don't really need a T-shirt.HahaaSo many things to buy already! I'm such a shop hag.Not a good time to be lusting over stuff. I needa save. (I know I keep saying it, but I'm as serious as Russell Peters)In 9 hours, I'm gonna be up watching my Healing Hands 3. And in 21, I'll be watching The Breakup.Hope my rash remains-subtlely unobvious. (Is there such a thing??)Whatever. Love!
SING-apore Idol, for a reason obviously?
Thursday, August 17 9:56 PM
Woah.Mathilda's outta. For the record- I'm not a Mathilda fan, not even a Sg Idol fan anyway. But I'm just curious...If Joakim were to get on stage and NOT SING, just STAND. Will he still be spared elimination?Seriously, he might even get more votes!Guess it does take a rocket scientist for some to realise it's not called SING-apore Idol for no reason. You guys really think it's the name of our country??I shall name my daughter Wylene and son Cowan.Don't ask.
10 things I hate about you.
Wednesday, August 16 9:51 PM
- When you say 'whatever' to anything I say, cause you just don't wanna be caught speechless. (And, you think I have no idea. Haha!)
- When you call me and make it sound like I'm the one who's calling you. (Eh, yah??)
- When you curse at every vehicle that overtakes you. (Blame the driver.)
- When you sing. Badly.
- When my prophecies come true, it's my fault.
- When you're late.
- That I cannot eat in your car.
- That your friend thinks I'm 24. =(
- That I think you are the cause of my bad skin allergy. Somehow.
- That you think I can't parallel park for nuts and my purpose in life is to exhaust your petrol and scratch your bumper. (That's only once!)
I'm sorry but I just caught '10 things I hate about you' on StarMovies a while back and got inspired. (If you even call it inspiration in the first place)
Hahaha.
It's already Thursday in 40 winks!
City of Angels
Monday, August 14 9:57 PM
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANE!
YOU TURN THE BIG 2-0!
We 'll meet up real soon okie? Promise.Monday was fast.Am flyin' solo tomorrow, plus with the heap of stuff on my IN tray, I'm sure it's gonna past much faster than today.haha.Before I know, it might be already Wednesday!I know, 2 days until Clara kisses Toa Payoh Auf Wiedersehen. Yay, ANTM is now on!
Lousy weekend
Sunday, August 13 1:24 PM
I seriously don't remember Saturdays to be as boring last time. There were seriously N.O.T.H.I.N.G to watch after 1pm. (which is what, 11 hours shy of Sunday?)I hate staying home on Saturdays! (what choice do I have?)Hope I'll be good enough for to watch Jenn Aniston and Vince Vaughn on the big screen by next weekend. I hoped My Super Ex Girlfriend sucked enormously..Hahaa, cos I didn't get to catch it. It's already back to work tomorrow..the weekend felt kinda long actually. Given that my past 5 months of weekends only consisted of just Sundays cos Saturdays were spent outside and it ate all the way till 1pm on Sunday.HahaGimme back my short weekends! And I found out on Google that there was actually a movie made from the Jodi Picoult book I'm reading now. Will someone help me get it? Please??HahaaThis is my short Sunday posts as opposed to previous where I'll be going on and on and on about movie and pig out sessions during the week. And you! Please don't be so nice to me.It makes me cringe, cos it seems to good to be true.Plus, it shouldn't be you.17 days to payday!
Where's my Fast Fwd?
Saturday, August 12 8:38 AM
SPOILER AHEAD: If you are not a Hubber, and catch your weekly dose of Project Runway on 5. Please exit, and stop cursing for the pictures already.
Anywayssssssssss.
Chloe won!
Not like I didn't know from the beginning of the season already (no thanks to Jack)
Hahaa.
I wanted Daniel V to win actually, cos he's like challenge KING. (or Queen for that matter) He wins almost every challenge, what happened?? It's quite a bleeding waste he came out about being gay. I thought you were very cute! Looking a bit like Liam Gallagher, don't ask me why.Hahaha And I kinda thought Santino's designs in the Olympus show beat Dan V's, wonder why he was out first......
And so, that ends my Thursdays Cable Matinee.
America's Next Top Model coming Monday better be good. By good, I mean bitchfights, crazy fits.Haha, the beauty of reality TV. Would have been supposed to catch Uma tonight, but doubt it cos of my rash. I wonder when it's gonna subside completely!I wonder when I'm gonna look back at this whole fiasco and laugh, thinking it wasn't such a great issue. But until then, I'm gonna just whine to everyone and coop up in my cave with my 64 bats. And no joke, I lost 2kg in one week!See, bad skin can cause depression and low morale, which eventually leads to poor (or no appetite)Dear Lord Jesus, for the many times I asked to lose weight, this isn't exactly how I wanted it. If you could, I'd like an undo. Amen. On a lighter note, Clara's ITP is gonna end realllyreally soon. Good for her, I know she's been waiting since f.o.r.e.v.e.rhahahaAnd by then, it'll leave me with 11 days to my great escape.Wonder if I'm gonna make it anyways. Please god. I need a getaway.AND, I got my Debit MasterCard!Haha.I can swipe and sign as and when from now.SO grown up! I love it!
Jasmine's returning Sept, 25th! So happpppy. It's been 2 years but barely feels like it.
And Ally's husband's coming down in October..Wedding bells are ringing..But now, it's my alarm clock.Got 8 mins to brush my teeth and I'm off to catch reruns of the Healing hands 3 on 55 which I missed entire week.Laters!
Wednesday, August 9 8:30 PM

Hah.
Early morning and I was already at Mohd Sultan, not for the usual reasons.
Definitely not the right time of the day either.
But not if I'm there at the Singapore Buddhist Lodge.
It's the yearly visit for my grandparents. Yeah, both side.
OH!OH! And I was donning my new glasses.
Don't I look like your super ex-girlfriend? Hahah!
YAH, more like your super ex-law lecturer!
And then we went back Bugis, and everything seemed to be on sale! Topshop! Seiyu!
But my rashes made me feel really lousy, and (yes, you heard it right) I wasn't in the mood to shop.
Urgh.
Plus, I'm supposed to keep a strict leash on my budget.
Siggggh
And so!
Ally,Mum, Jacq and I headed back to visit Grandad at the nursing home.
It actually looks prettty luxurious. I thought it looked like Modena from the exterior.
Haha
It's not some old age home, by the way.
There are all those private nurses and care-givers 24/7.
Hello! At least, we know they won't run away!
HAH!
Stupid stupid maids that run away. Fucking cannot be trusted.
(Don't even get me started on it)
Caught the 1st hour of the parade at the nursing home with grandad and rushed home for dinner and Sg Idol.
There's still work tomorrow.
Life, oh, life.
Feels like a Sunday today, am I the only one who thinks that way?
And yes, Happy 41st Singapore.
Gimme my goodie bag, now.
Countdown to the land of Tata young: Holy Barnacles, Only 17!
Itching like CRAZY
Tuesday, August 8 10:43 PM
I'M DOWN WITH AN ALLERGY.
MY ENTIRE FACE IS ALL RASHED, ANGRY AND BLOTCHY.
I'm fuckin pissed.
I took MC today, cos I can't face the world out there.
Good thing for National Day tomorrow.
What the flying fuck did I eat?!
Anyhows, my birthday is ONLY next month!
It's been a year ALREADY.I'm turning the big 2-0! (much later than the rest of you all, but still)
I'm already thinking what I want, where I wanna go, what I wanna do, who I wanna spend it with. (As a result of a uber long day of MC at home)
And so guys- the usuals. Please keep yourselves free ok?Ok?OK?
19th, by the way is a Tuesday.
So if we do (we have to!) meet up, then chances are it'll be on the coming Saturday, 23rd. Back to my fucking allergy.I have a movie to catch this week!It better subside by then.Better still, heck, by Thursday! It's itching my panties off me!Urgh. And girls, we haven't been clubbing in a while. Can we, like meet up SOON?Which brings me to......I need some retail therapy big time!(I know, I keep saying that. But it's true!)But guess my shopping budget will only come end Aug, cos I still have Bangkok to raid for 4 days later this month. Can hardly wait. I'm turning 20! (Although Friend thinks I can pass off as a 26)I think I need a makeover.hahahaaSomeone, dial Tyra.
Now reading: The Pact - Jodi PicoultNow playing: Promiscuous - Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland
With compliments.

Love,gina
Universal Remotes.
2:13 AM
You probably wouldn't take my word for it.But I actually teared watching Click.yah, Okie.. I know I'm such a ditz. And luckily the cinema is dark, Friend couldnt tell or I'll be joke of losertown. So what? Definitely didn't help that old folks are my Achilles’ heel. Anyways I think memory is very important which is as much the bottomline of the movie.Guess you had everything your way without quite remembering how to get there, it pretty much defeats the purpose.Yes, so the movie says...Morty: He's always chasing the pot of gold, but when he gets there, at the end of the day, it's just corn flakes. Morty: It's all just... cornflakes. I know, I love quoting from movies. Makes me hungry for breakfast already. Haha!Donna Newman: Will you love me in the morning?Michael Newman: Forever and ever, babe Aww.So fucking sweet.
You catch my drift?
Friday, August 4 10:42 PM

The Fast and The Furious is like, DAMN GOOD!
I was pretty skeptical at first, really..cos I missed the first 2 installations of it.
But the stories were probably not sequels anyway!
The whole hour and a half was entirely on Japan mafia and drifting, drifting, and you guessed right- MORE drifting.
It seems, like you prolly can't find a normal Getz or Vios in Japan..They're prolly too tame for them.
Everyone probably drive some crazy Nissan Silvia S15 or RX-7..that clocks at 197km/hr, which the police cars don't bother giving chase.
So the movies says!
[Shawn engages the nitrous in Han's RX-7 and zips past a Skyline. He suddenly notices a police car parked on the left side of the road. The cops clock him at 197 km/h. Shawn is surprised when he sees that the police car is not bothering to chase him]
Shawn Boswell: What the?
Han: Police cars here are only factory tuned. Can do better than 180K they can't catch you, so they don't even try.
And these people really don't need to drive, they drift. (Which is really the best part)
Think of cars scratching on the roads and very smooth cornering.
They can drift upslopes! Even girls! I wannadrifttoo.
Hahaha, Friend contemplated the thought of doing so, up the carpark, which he didn't or I would probably not be blogging right now.
