My very FIRST.

I'm a proud owner of ze ABN AMRO Master Card!Lunch was hilarious, cos Boyfriend came to pick me up, for a lunch reservation at Hotel Royal for Dimsum..But when we got to the hotel, he realised he got the hotel wrong, but it was too late to turn back!
Hahaha, so we headed to HK Cafe at Thomson Rd.After work, we headed downtown for the 1st Christmas movie of the season - Deck the Halls.
And during the ride, I found THIS in the glove pocket!
Trust me, I nearly caused a freak accident when I opened it. Haha

Totally got me there.
It came as a surprise (which I shall spare you guys of the details),but it caught me off guard and he's been laughing at my expression ever since 6.35pm.
Sometimes, I'm amazed at what this boy can do.
God, I'm friggin sold.
I totally heart this boy to bits.
Swipe,swipe.

TuesdayAlvin's off at band camp since Monday, and Jack flew off to HK early this morning.I'm the lone child today, until AL returns tomorrow. Met Boyfriend after work and went Raffles The Plaza for dinner at Café Swiss. Their sandwich is H-U-G-E. Had my oven toasted chicken on sundried tomato topped with loadsa cheddar cheese, even more tomato and generous amounts of cream cheese!Ahh, heaven.I should have taken a picture, but we were so hungry. The moment the humongous plate arrived, I dived into the tortilla chips and sour cream. Jane, you're not the only one gaining 10kg!HahahaThere were trunkloads of other fondue on the menu, like the Vegetable Herbs, Swiss Cheese, Supreme Cheese, Lavender Chocolate and all. (I know I got you drooling)BUT.BUT.B-U-T the new menu only starts from 14th Dec (maybe in anticipation of X'mas..)Yah, so we settled for the normal Choc Fondue.Super sinful nonetheless, but as usual. Nothing is beyond us to finish it. Almost.I left him the sour fruits, while I relish the side with uber sweet honeydews. Hahaha!Tomorrow's already mid week (yay).Dear is on leave tomorrow, which means I get free ride to work complete with breakfast, lunch and movie after work!Gonna catch Deck the Halls at town tomorrow. Oh, and his daddy just bought a Nissan Sylphy the other day.Like, "Oh. Nice Car. Okay, How much?"I also want! Why doesn't my Pops do this?Hahaa, shall cut my dad some slack and not drag him into this. Alright now, it's been 2 great days. 3 more to go before the highly anticipated 2nd Dec. Will keep you all updated!Ciao babes.

Feels like a long time since I updated.
Must have been a happening week!
Monday to Wednesday, I had my personal mobile to get to work..to lunch and back home.
God, I'm so not complaining.
Went for Tenacious D on Wednesday.
It was okay, except I found it quite weird they use their real names in the show.
Jack Black is JB, and Kyle Gass is well, Kyle Gass.
Thursday and Friday was hell busy with packing due to restructuring.
Had to pack e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g into boxes to be shifted to our new workstations, and come Monday, the unpacking is gonna be just as crazy to say the least.
I was so tired, I went home immediately and dozed off by 11pm both nights.
Boyfriend had company's Dinner and Dance on Saturday, so our weekly movie routine was postponed to midnight.
Went with Mum and Jack to Town for some satisfaction guaranteed shopping.

En route Orchard aboard 518
Went winter wear ahunting, as they needed to get more of those winter wear which they'll be needing in 3 weeks' time.
Looking at our old ones, doubt they'll even fit anymore. Hahaa
Cute!
Told her this is cuter, but she insists I'm making her look stupid.
Love the hat.
Oh, in case you're wondering why on earth they need such wear...
Their Hong Kong trip has been cancelled.
Dad and Mum decided on the 7 day China-Beijing trip in the end.
Tickets already collected, off to fly on the 18th and back at night on 24th December.
(Can't believe they left me alone to spend X'mas Eve!)
But guess who's going Hong Kong this time??????
hahahaha!
Yup. 2 tickets have already been booked for 16-19th April 07. (Yes, I know we booked waaaaay early)
hahaa, but least now we know we have something to look forward in 5 months time.
4 days of utter bliss in shopper's haven.
Can't wait. And everyone's travelling this season.
We have Jack who's flying to Hong Kong this coming Tuesday, 28th for her canoe competition and returning on the 4th. She's going 8 days, albeit only racing 4 days.
And there's my kid brother who's going to KL to perform with his band on 11th December , returning on 14th, ONLY to be flying (again) to China on the 18th for more fun.
Kinda proud of them, to be honest.
I never get to represent my country or school outside Singapore.
And then on the 18th, the entire SNGs are zooming o'er to Beijing me behind.
Oh yah, back to my shopping.
Bought a pair of Lacoste shoes yesterday! And a MNG top and another cute top from Far East.

I know it looks school shoe-ly, but that's why I totally love it!
Come Wednesday, it's gonna be another shopping trip.
I'm getting Happy Feet and gonna start tap dancing too. Hahah

Yea, better heed that warning.
Speaking of which, We caught Happy Feet at Cine last night.
It was soooooooooooooo funny!
The entire cinema was in fits of crazed laughter.
It was reallly awesomely good.
Hahaha, makes me wanna adopt a penguin - the latino ones. (Watch and you'll know)
Oh yes, I feel like changing to this phone.
Tell me what you think okie!
http://www.nokia.com.sg/nokia/0,8764,97953,00.htmlIn Powder Pink, of course.Alright, having said so much.
My flu is making a comeback.
Sleeping at 4am last night did not help at all.
Till later, toodles.
Let me tell you a story.
Monday, November 20 7:44 PM
Once, there was Girl, who never quite liked to keep huge amounts of $ in her wallet, as she is a more-than-staunch believer of "have-it-will-spend-it".
That- has been proven many times.
(That's a little background for you folks)
So, one day Boy offers to send her to work after first sending his folks.
Unlike usual days, that is one day she couldn't afford to strut in at 8.45am, hoping no one would notice because there's an important agenda at work.
And like luck would have it, Boy got held up, and texted to say that he'll reach late, which will in turn result in her reaching even later.
She decided she didn't have the luxury of time, and so hailed a cab.
With some divine help, she had 80 bucks with her, from the night before she was supposed to return to a cousin, which she forgot.
She hopped on a cab, texted her boy to save the trip, praying hard the jam wouldn't quite be a killer.
She reached on time, in one piece.
During lunch, Boy came down to pick her up for lunch complete with dessert and her favourite magazine.
But the awwwww factor kicked in only after work, where he came again to send her home.
This time, he had an envelope which had "a little something".
Inside the envelope, Girl found .... 6 vouchers from Citycab, Comfort Taxi and Yellow Top Cab!
"For days in case you're stranded @ Orchard or waking up late with only $2 in your wallet.."
While it's not exactly a lot in terms of monetary value (probably lasts 2 ERP inclusive traffic-jammed morning trips to work), but the thought alone is soooooooooooo melting.
Is there really, anyone like that who still exists?
That, is one fucking lucky girl, I'm telling you.
Beats a tub of Bliss Ice Cream, anytime.
Sunday, November 19 1:42 PM
Guys! Go catch Just Friends!
It's fucking-hilariously-funny, and even that is an understatement!
Caught it last night at Cine, and trust me. I laughed so hard, I teared a couple of times.
Think Anna Faris was damn good at spoofing Samantha James who's like Paris Hilton and Ashlee Simpson together!
Only she will be able to pull it off! Haha
Her 'Forgiveness' song is a MUST HEAR!
A madman's favourite!
HAHHAHAA...

I'm so gonna burst out in crazy fits of laughter thinking again.
On the other hand, it was Mum & Dad's 21st Wedding Anniversary on Friday.
Wow. 21 years sounds long. It's like these 2 people have been married since I was even born.
Okay, I know it sounds stupid now.
Hahaa
And my entire folks are going to BKK next month-without me, cos Im technically unable to get from work.
Nonetheless, no love lost. I've afterall, been there, done that.
All I need to give them now, is of course my shopping list and get through that 5 days without any hiccups.
Ally's flight for Germany is schedule tonight at 2305 hrs.
Which means I'm going to the airport in the evening..
I'm gonna miss her.

Bye guys!
Forecast for next week looks a bit dry.
Except for 3 days where I get to wake up late! (Read: Altis)
Boyfriend's got DnD on Saturday and some gathering on Friday night.
Looks like I'm gonna have to sit through my Saturday Night Matinee alone.
Oh wells, that's as much as I can get for an update like, 2 hours since I woke up.
8 hours to Monday.
Not helping.
Thank you
Thursday, November 16 9:04 PM
Thank you for..........loving me.
Up's the only way to go.
Monday, November 13 9:45 PM

STEP UP is dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn nice.
The movie makes me wanna get on my feet and start dancing too..
BUT only if my partner is the new-janitor-who-is-actually-serving-community-hours-turns-transfer-student.
Yes, my point being - Channing Tatum is waaaaaay hot.
Up is definitely, the only way to go from here.
YAY.
It's 41 days to Christmas.
Midweek uncrisis
Thursday, November 9 10:42 PM
Wednesday:
My speed lemon came at 8am sharp, and I reached TPY North at 8.25am (with 5 mins for me to roll in)
Worked,worked,worked.
Lunch came at 12.3opm in a yellow Getz.
I lovelovelove it when people pick me up for lunch.
Speed lemon sent me back to office, and went home for a round of DVD.
In a flash, it was 6pm (Yipps)
Hopped onto my speed lemon and headed to Bedok South for hair cut.
No worries, I still look the same, albeit a tad shorter. (The hair! Not my height, doofus)
Went for dinner @ Uma Uma Men...which was outrageously filling.
Trust me, I never used to eat Char Siew Miso Ramen so often.
I just went there exactly a week ago, on a Wednesday too.
Wednesdays are their ladies' night.
That being said, your meal is free if you're a lady (well, at least in the form of a voucher for your next visit)
OH.
Now I know, why I was there again.
That also imply, we ended up with another voucher for next visit.
But trust me, it's not gonna be next Wednesday.
3 consecutive weeks of ramen is not exactly fat free and havenised.

After, we went to catch Flushed Away.
It's hilariously cute!
Really. Coming from someone who isn't exactly a fan of animations...you really oughta watch this one.
And that's probably the only time I'm gonna pay (ok, technically I didn't) to watch 88 minutes of rats in motion.
Reached home, dead beat at 12mn..
Half wishing it were a Friday, I was already in slumberland.
Thursday:
Morning didn't start off too bad, afterall I had an Altis sent me to work!
Utter bliss, although slightly late. (I swear it's the jam)
While I was slogging my ass off, someone is probably happily shopping across the Causeway at City Square.
Whatever, just don't forget to get me something.
Haha
Sidekick left after lunch, for medical appointment..
Flew solo till 6pm, and flew (literally) to meet Jasmine at Parkmall at 6.30pm.
Finallyfinallyfinally returned home to Gramp's place at 9pm with Jasmine.
And Amazing Race Asia premieres today!
Caught like what 10 mins, after they introduced all the teams, until I left for home.
Dad says he hasn't seen me all week.
I accidentally put on the padlock last night before Dad got home, so he took a while to make his way in.
OOOOPS. Sorry Dad!
Tomorrow's already Friday.
My boy's returning from M'sia.
Life's still good.
I love.
22 more days to 3rd
46 more to Christmas

What's taking it so long?
Random random!
Tuesday, November 7 10:51 PM
Okay, Okay.I hear you all the way from Ireland. We shall do away with the password. (It's irritating the pants off me too)At least now you all know what kinda lens Nokia uses! HAHAOn a random note, Mum's not feeling well today. It's already midweek tomorrow..The newspaper uncle forgot my Straits Times today...Get to sleep a bit later tomorrow, cos i get my own 'mutton mobile' to get to Braddel....I love my pilot show (which is on Channel U right now)....!
9:15 PM
WOW!
She looks sooo good this time!

I'm impressed!

Love her hair!
Thanks to http://perezhilton.com/
Robin's Birthday!
Sunday, November 5 11:30 AM
It's a birthday day!
Mali turns 21st, and birthday boy 28th!
-throws the confetti all around-
Couldn't make it for Mali's party, I'm terriblyterriblyterribly sorry cos I didn't know tickets had been booked, and dinner reservations had been made.
Promise I'll see you guys soon ok??
So birthday boy came around 4pm, ate his strawberry shortcake, received his godsend of a gift (which is me, actually..HAHA!)
and we went off to Ubi showroom..
No prizes for guessing, we went for another test drive..
It's the Kia Rio, and I'm not a fan. At all.
Thankfully, he doesn't like it either..
Helps that the salesperson didn't sound convincing.
So yay to the fact that we're not getting a Kia Rio.
It's really quite UGLY in my opinion.
Wonder why he went for the test drive in the first place even.
I'll take a Nissan Latio anyday, thank you.
Headed down town for dinner @ Surf and Turf.
I couldn't eat Surf (The seafood), and not exactly a fan of Turf (The steak)..but i haven't been there yet..so thought we could use some new menu.
Our dinner's getting kinda the same Vila'ge-Kenny's-Subway routine.
Haha
Dinner was okay, since birthday boy loved his sirloin steak and crayfish and there were no complaints.
After dinner, we went The Glass Bar at Mount Faber.

The Glass Bar- so glassy and prettty!
It's reallly quite prettty up there...
Would have been better at The Altivo since it's open space and all....
(And you get to see the skyline of S'pore albeit the slight haze)
The Altivio-too bad it was full house out there last night.
Sat through for about 2 hours, which was prolly what my Purple Haze lasted..and we left for Cine.
Going downhill is a lot easier on the ears, without a doubt!
Hahah

Went to catch "Material Girls" at Cine.
As much as I love Hilary Duff, the movie's kinda boo.
Shan't dwell too much into it, since it seems I'm no stranger to less-than-fantastic flicks.
Hahaha
Ironically, birthday boy thought the movie was pretty cute, which was the only saving grace.
haha.
Look who's the sucker for dumb blonde movies now.
Hahaa
Movie ended close to 1.30am, and the ride back East began.
Which was quite an interesting ride, cos I found out loadsa (good) stuff.
Hahahah
Shan't bore you guys out here.
And I realised I wasn't home for dinner a single night the whole of last week.
So I shall make good my Sunday and stay home today.
And! Dear just told me the size fits alright! I'm so proud of my precise estimate.
Hahaa
Tell me I'm good.
Yay that he loves the cut and the design.
Tell me I'm good again. haha
According to him, "Polo Ralph Polo Tees doesn't lose its shape after repeated washes, so it can last thru at least 20 washes"
Hahaha.
Back at home, grandad's being admitted to CGH due to a case of pnuemonia.
Hope he gets well soon enough...
Last I heard from Mum, his fever has subsided.
He's a strong man, he'll be kicking again.
Well, that's all for a Sunday update of events.
Not short of earth shattering and ground breaking...but still substantial.
Till the next birthday and more strawberry shortcakes!
Someone turns 28!
Saturday, November 4 2:07 PM
Went shopping at Town with Ally on Monday.
Got the present, at long last.

That I have tremendously fab taste.
We're gonna have a very happy boy today.
Everyone, say Happpy Birthday.
Birthday Shoutout!
12:17 AM
HAPPPPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY 2 FAVOURITEST PEOPLE !
