The Ice Blue March rolled in to my arms today!
Although I still think Irish Cream is a waaaay better colour, I still think this is B-E-A-U-tiful!Went for lunch and dinner in it.

I think I might just have a new crush now.....

I went to catch Borat, and despite it being rated R 21....

I managed to pass off as one, she didn't bother to check me.

Not good at all, even though I did make the extra effort to look 21-ish today.

I feel so old.

The movie, on the other hand is one of the FUNNNIEST I've seen this year.

Go watch, IF you can get your way in, which most of you prolly have little problems in.

And, I'm feeling slightly better today.

Went to cut hair with Jack this afternoon.
Hers turned out really nice, by the way!

Had the same intention too, but backed out in the end.
I have to keep reminding myself not to be tempted and snip it short -again
So I just trimmed my ends and fringe as normal.
I still look good- That's a given.
Hahaha

And we took a whole load of neoprints!

A result of poor estimation - I covered half my face behind the imaginary "notepad".

We literally empty your pockets! Haha!

Folks still in China, but will be back tomorrow night!

X'mas falls on Monday, so it's late mornings until Tuesday!

Weekend's lookin good already!

Even though my folks were still somewhere stranded in Beijing, I had dinner for 3 nights - homecooked.

No prizes for guessing who.

Hahah, it was so funny. But at the same time, I'm utterly ashamed of myself with the total lack of kitchen knowledge.

I never knew how to operate my airpot, the stove and the rice cooker.

And utmost, I never knew it can be that tiring to cook, cos you have to clean and wash and dry the bowls, plates, cutlery, crockery..

I didn't have to cook, but hey at least I offered to help clean up.

(Bad move)

At least now, I'll appreciate it more when Mum cooks.

Xmas shoppin' this year was super unplanned, super late.

Did it only on Thursday in lieu of the HR Xmas party yesterday.

Went through the malls, and may I comment that the crowd during this period is C-R-A-Z-Y

Is everyone late for Xmas shopping too? Or are they just checking to make sure they haven't missed out on any fab deals??

I even bypassed the MNG sale, which you normally would need 5 horses to pull me away from.

Finally, managed to get stuff for the people at work, and even Kason! (That's Angeline's son for you).

He's a darling.

Met him last week when we went to swop tyres with her hubby.

Got sooooo many gifts from people at work yesterday.

My 1st Xmas party at work.
3 hours away from the office, I'm not complaining.
Hahah

I got loads of lotions.. Marks and Spencer, Body Shop..I think that's a favourite among Xmas shoppers!

Managed to get this for Boyfriend.

I wrapped it MYSELF. (Go ahead and be impressed!)

He better like it! Well, I would if it's for me. Haha.

Sorry Jane, can't attend your musical...cos it'd be too rush.
Nonetheless, I'm sure it'll be a success, and you all have a blast.

I changed my blog skin (yes, again), but cut me some slack on this, cos I did it within
the 20 minutes that Al was hoggin the bathroom.
Queuing up for toilets are never fun, plus I was getting bored with the previous
layout..So i maximised my 20 mins!

Today
My folks are still packing, for their China trip tomorrow.
Spent the entire day through Bugis and People's Park to hunt for their last minute necessities and Jack's winter jacket.
It's like -6 degree celcius there now, so imagine them all looking big and bulky with their jackets.
But I'm STILL so fucking envious my name's not gonna be on the list of the China-bound flight at 8.15am.
It's bad enough that I don't get to buy nice pink gloves with lace or pretty beanies with beads.
but they even make me accompany them on winter wear ahunting.
The cold and cruel world.....
Hahahah
But guess I won't fit well there either, I cannot stand extreme cold for nuts.
And look at it this way, I'm sending 4 of my personal shoppers to shop for me.
Hahah!
They're gonna be back on the night on X'mas eve.
I'm really thinking of how I'm gonna spend my week.
They say, when the cat is away, the mice will p-l-a-y.

Caught The Holiday with Boyfriend.

Met Angeline, her hubby and her son in the afternoon to do the tyre swap at Simpang Bedok. Kayson's really cute!
Proceeded to the Nissan showroom and some shopping at Plaza before ending the night with the movie and Pizza Hut.

I love getaways like this!
We should do it every month! Hahah
Those 36 hours were thoroughly enjoyed, even though there were some slight glitches towards the end of the getaway.
But all's still good.
Oh, and I learnt to operate a men's electronic shaver. All hail, me.
Hahah
Had BK for dinner, complete with corn soup from Mos, and loads of grapes, yoghurt and chocolate pudding for supper.
Ahh, Bliss.

Whole of Last Week
LOADS of things happen, things that are not exactly celebratory.
Probably one notch below hell. Hahah
Angeline had been most helpful!
God, I heart this girl to bits.
She just seems to be able to put all things wrong into the right perspective.
Maybe, I really shouldn't be so pessimistic.
It had been a less than fantastic week for us, but I'm not (yet) complaining.
I could totally relate to Lemony Snickett's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Bad things couldn't help, but roll in.. Hahaha
Speak about magnet of bad luck.
Anyways, this better stop, else I'll flip.
And trust me, insane is a conservative word to use.
Hahahah
But no worries, I'm okay!
Just, please pray for everything to go well.
And Grandad- please recover fast.

It's a new week (albeit alone), but nonetheless getaway on Friday will help the week pass extremely fast!

Forget Taka kid, I'm an Ikea kid!

Went Ikea @ Tampines on Tuesday! Finally.

Just when I thought : Woah, crowd doesn't look too bad, parking was a breeze too.
But oooooh, trust me- You should take a look at the restaurant's queue.

Which, I couldn't take the picture of, cause I was in the queue myself.

But just think McDonald's Hello Kitty craze to get an idea.
There were 2 main queues snaking round to the counter, and at anytime there were 50 people in the queue.

On a Tuesday.

No joke.

Good thing we didn't adhere to the original plan of going on Sunday.

Diam must be 'heaven' in German.

At long last, we managed to put our favourite meatballs with cranberry sauce and fried fish with chive sauce, plus Diam cake into our mouths.

I know, it seemed like we went there for the food instead of anything else.

Hahaha

So did 46,000 other people.

And on Wednesday, I got a bunch of..........................

My 3rd in this year.

Still not a fan of the stalks though, but nonetheless who's complaining? Hahaha. I practically had to ask Boyfriend the name of all the different kind of flowers in the bouquet.

Just came back from collecting the log cake he bought for Mummy Sng.

I'm so gonna balloon up even before Christmas.

Jack returned from HK on Monday, with all that fun for a week, it's no doubt coming back wasn't something exactly something to look forward.

Put me in HK anytime, think I might just apply for citizenship.
I will gladly bathe in bird nest and massage myself with egg tarts!

Got us some cute stuff from Disneyland and clothes too!

Come Monday, it's Al's turn to fly KL-bound.

Room's mine for 4 days till he returns on Thursday, then room is his for one night.

Shopped for their winter wear. (It's now -7°C in Beijing!)

Boyfriend bought a new Nissan March, due Christmas. Yay!
