Yay! am gonna read it in the exact order

Went to Hongkong Cafe at midnight to catch Newcastle vs Aston Villa.

G'night world.
Whatever that doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger.
I can only hope Workplace Law isn't fatal.
Right now I just wanna enjoy.
Sometimes, it makes me wonder how I spent my days before classes started.
I must be damn free, I'm telling you!
But somehow it always doesn't seem that way then.
Haha, but I guess this is always the case.
We don't appreciate something until we get something else worst.
Oh well, tomorrow is Friday! -sings-
Oh yah, when I meant sing, I really have my own melody for this.
(It's goes on with 'Tomorrow is Sat-urday, and I can wake up lateeeeeee' I know it's super lame, but trust me it's very catchy! Hahaa!)
I need to shop badly. I was mugging online that day, and I really needed to shop.
So dang! I did some e-shopping and got myself a top.
Very bad, Gina. What to do, the temptations are so omnipresent.
G'night world. 10 more days? Heck, make it 9. It's 1/2 hour to midnight.

Went to catch Rush Hour 3 just now.
But that's not the main point.
Queued for donuts (again) at the new Donut Factory outlet @ Suntec.
This time only took 30 mins. And I get a whole dozen to myself this round! HAH!
But that's not the main point either.
Went for dinner at Pepper Lunch, took salmon pepper rice without pepper, add cheese. Boyfriend had his steak as usual. And then somehow along the way, I had beef on my plate too. Not that I'm complaining! :)
But again - not really the crux of the matter
The highlight of the night was when.........................
We went to get Jane-y her 21st birthday gift!
Yes, yes. I know you turn 21 next Tuesday, but I highly doubt you'll receive it by then.
(cos I only managed to get it today and it's still sitting on my table!)
No worries, I plan to send it to you asap so you can marvel at the wonderful-est present you will ever get! :)
Just so you know it's NOT belated, cos technically I bought it before Tuesday! Hahaha
Your birthday is NOT forgotten just because you're in some godforsaken Adelaide.
We still miss you!
One small problem though, is that I'll have to try my luck at Singpost cos I'm not sure if they allow me to freight it to you.
The gift is relatively HUGGGEASS! (I swear you're getting excited already!)
If not, then I just have to drop it your place to your folks until you return for your holiday soon!
I'll let you know no matter what!
There'll be no pictures till then.
If by the good grace of the Lord you manage to receive in Adelaide, then the honour is yours to post pics of it!
Till then, every visit from Postman Pat is gonna be an exciting one!
Happy National Day!
In comparision, I can hardly recall my N'day at SPH last year.
Did people come with s'pore flags tattoo-ed on their cheeks?
Was there a mobile popcorn machine to serve us fresh hot popcorn?
Did we even have a celebration?
Not that I remember, but we have all of that this year! Not to add the choir and performance.
Hmm, anyways. Good to have a PH since a looooong time back like Labour Day?
Woke up pretty early to mug (somemore!) Exams start on Monday and the intensity is killing.
I've got a total of 26 modules for the coming week to mug, and seriously I'm even too ashamed to tell you where I'm at.
But no sweat! I'm coming full steam, which also explains the turning down of manymany shopping trips and dinners (sorry guys!)
I'll be free again after 16th! And you all have 2 weeks to get me out and running in town, cos lessons will start all too soon again in 1st week of Sept.
And for the coming semester, I'll be taking an additional module.
My week already looks full.
So! Hurry!
But on hindsight, the past 4 months hadn't been that much of a nightmare as I expected.
It was tough, yes. But I guess if you want to do it then there's nothing much that can stand in your way.
(Laziness is such a major road block!) HAHA
And I just got my mid term grades, I'm (quite) pleased with myself considering it's my 1st sem.
Whee!
I'm 1/4 way to smelling something more tangible. Like a degree. D'uh.
Heh
Went to catch Royston Tan's 881 with my whole family sans Jack this afternoon.
There's a lot of hype about this movie if you are not based locally (like Ally! and Jane!)
It's about the local 7th month and the getai industry.
Amid all the reviews (good and bad), I'll agree that it is in its most honest form. Very local, I must say. And definitely not a waste of $$.
It's a bit of a musical, hokkien songs. So you should skip it altogether if you're not into it.
As all local movies end, it gets slightly tragic which just emphasizes that every life is like a movie that kinda thing.
(Trust me, there is a saying for this is mandarin. Xi ru ren shen.. something! Jean should know!)
So yah. That's for afternoon. After which, Mum went with Dad for grocery shopping @ NTUC, all that 4.2% for National Day does get mothers a bit high.
Al went to meet his gf, for another screening at 7pm for Rush Hour.
Mum and Jack just caught it yesterday and I heard it's good.
Guess I won't be disappointed this weekend afterall. :)
For me, I headed down to Lavender to meet my boy. And off we drove to Old Airport Road for dinner!
No tickets to NDP, so that's the 2nd best alternative to spend the evening.
It's back to work tomorrow again. Short one and we're into the weekend again.
I especially like weeks like this cos tomorrow will just feel like a Monday (Sat and Sun feels like 1 day anyway)
And then it's Sat and Sun AGAIN! Wow.
Plus, I'll be on leave for whole of next week. No prizes for guessing. Exams!
Wish me luck yea? I'll be needing it!
On a random note, I find myself endorsing this quote I read somewhere a lot these days. Maybe cos I find it so apt. It's from Mother Teresa by the way.
Either I'm getting saintly, or I'm getting old.
'Whatever that doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger.'
Since I can't be there with all of you, I hope this little bit helps you in any relationship dilemma, mid-life crisis, decision-making, baby problems, major headaches that you're going through.
(Hopefully not more than 1 in the list at any point in time, else you should just seek divine help instead. Haha! )
So go forth, do something right today. And spread some love for our country will ya?
That little red dot turns a ripe old age of 42 today. (That's almost twice mine! Haha, I'm so MTV)
Bring out the champagne! 17 days to F.U.N
Boyfriend called while I was in the office.
The background where he was calling was super noisy but his message was loud and clear : Get your ass down asap if you want a box of some piping hot donuts!
DONUTS!
I flew down the minute the clock struck 6. Ok, maybe 6.30pm.
Got there at the speed of light and managed to catch him in the Q. For that, I got to choose my 6 flavours (He only gave me a quota of 6!)
By the time we finally got hold of all 24 (you are only allowed to buy up to 2 dozen at any 1 time), it was already 7pm.
Technically speaking, he spent 2 and 1/2 hours in that Queue. No toilet breaks, no drinks.
Crazy Bananas!
But it was truly indeed worth the wait. I know.
And by the time we left, it was like 7pm, and the queue was still snaking towards godknowswhere. It's broken up into 3 sections to not disrupt the human traffic.
Imagine how long the last person will take to reach and WHETHER there were still any processed dough for him.
Well, they had a disclaimer outside the shop indicating that you can Q for as long as you wish, but donuts DO get sold out.
So be prepared for a heartache or possibly a heart attack.
I couldn't wait till I got home, so I devoured the peanut butter glazed while waiting at his lift lobby.
It is so DAMN sinfully good, I'm telling you.
I haven't had a peanut butter donut before, and so compared to strawberry or double choc, this currently tops my list (and rocks my smelly socks!)
I thought the donut craze in Singapore is getting ridiculous, but spoilt by him with treats like these.
I think I might just have hopped on to the (already crowded) band wagon. Haha!
Heaven now comes in a box of 6. Better than nothing. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm
Next Stop - Krispy Kreme! When will they even reach our shores? And then if they EVER do, they probably need security personnels and bouncers for crowd control.
Hahaha! I can imagine.

It's 11th!
Hmmm..feels like much longer than that. In fact, a couple of years.
As agreed, we'll head for 2 more 11s.
:)
Dinner after class was great! Especially since class ended earlier today.
It always feels good to have someone pick you up after a long day.
I'm kinda hooked on the smell of his car seat leather. Snifffffffff-
Anyway, I just changed my house telephone number AFTER so long.
I shifted like, 5 times in 20 years, (which is an avg of only 4 years in any one house) before Dad sets his eye on another nice exec apt and we shift our asses there again.
Packing, renovation, unpacking, cleaning.
Oh, the vicious cycle.
But, surprisingly this is only our 2nd number.
And truth be told, I really like the old number except there are many 'wrong number' calls which can get on my dad's nerves.
And SO! Ta-dah.
Can say that I had a bit of a say in the new number cos Dad gave us a couple of options.
And the one I picked is right now in my handphone directory. Not difficult to remember either.
Memory is never our forte. Hee
Strangely though, updating people of my new number today felt fuzzily nice and warming.
Almost like giving the number to my own house. Haha.
Anyway, those who need a update, sms me or call me alright?
Not gonna publish my new number here in full monty view. Besides, you guys seldom ring me at home.
Ally - you'll need it. I sent it to you thru MSN already. If not, let me know. :)
Exams in 2 weeks. Guys, I need all the 3 leaf clovers and bunnies' foot (hope PETA isn't reading) I can find. Haha.
Hope I can get the first hurdle through.
Next would be to graduate, stable career and my own house! :)
