Random Sunday
Sunday, March 29 10:20 PM
Went for dinner with Robin's parents at White Sands Mall after Mass. Anyway, during dinner, Uncle also told me my RCIA classes is starting next month! Great, I'm kinda looking forward to it, especially cos Dear gets to attend it with me. =)Telecommuting tomorrow, I better sleep early tonight!G'night. =)
Alvin turns 19!
12:50 PM
Attended CHRA yesterday at Allson hotel. 3 lessons down, 5 more to go. In fact, I look forward to each lesson as the sharing and discussions are always very interesting. The fact that my group mates are fun is a double plus!
My classmates come from varied background, some from local MNCs, some from SMEs, I'm the only one from the civil service though, so they also get to hear about some of the HR initiatives within. We even have one from Malaysia, one from Hong Kong and one from Indonesia.
After lesson, dear came to pick me up and we drove to Parkway to walk a bit. Meeting the folks at Changi Village Hotel's Salt Water Cafe to celebrate Al's birthday at 7pm, so from 5pm, we got a bit of time to waste.
Left after 6.30pm, drove to Changi Village Hotel. We were first to arrive, so waited a while for the folks to reach too. All in all, 7 of us. Alvin's girlfriend came along too. It was a huge crowd, hence more fun. =)
Some pictures we took during dinner. I'll let the photos do the talking from here.

Last photo of the evening! Thanks for the dinner, Dad! =)
After dinner, we sent Dad to work and then the 5 of us went to catch the midnight flick 'Coming Soon' at Tampines Mall.
Jacq thought it was pretty good, I'm not so sure. I didn't quite catch the meaning to the story but they explained to me, haha, so I pretty much got it by now. I must say though, that the visuals from the movie were really quite disturbing and scary.
Attending mass later at 6pm, followed by dinner with Robin's folks. A lot of eating going on, I'm gonna be a fat fat girl.
Okay, gonna catch my HK Drama on Channel 255 now. There's Definitely, Maybe on HBO at 9pm tonigh, if you're keen! I watched it before and it's soo damn sweet!
Bye guys!

Alvin turns 19!
Wednesday, March 25 10:31 PM
Day was okay, quiet cos a couple of them were on course today. No complaints though, managed to clear my to-do list. =)
Dear went to collect Alvin's birthday present at Marina Square. Met him at City Hall after work.
Took train down to Nissan @ Toa Payoh to collect the car, sent it for its regular servicing. This was followed by Dinner at Botak Jones. It's good that they came up with the mini-me menu cos their original portions were wayyy too huge, so this mini-me menu helps save food and money considering that they charge lesser for smaller portions.
Just to end the post with a birthday shout-out to my lil' bro: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
He turns 19 today! Time totally zoomed by, I wasn't even aware. Birthday dinner will be this Saturday instead. We're still thinking of where to go. Suggestions?
So so tired. G'night!

Some updates from the past week or so. Been an extremely tiring week, I have a huge sleep debt to pay. CD Lunch on Wednesday. A few near disasters. I won't go into details, but let's say I was nearly stuck in a room ablaze and that we nearly had no room for the lunch. Haha, when I told Yuh Tze, she was like, 'wah, so drama!' Haha, it was, indeed very dramatic. Oh wells, glad that everyone enjoyed it, received many positive feedback on the food and programme. =)The Elmo cake I got during the lunch. There was a mad stampede for the Hello Kitty and My Melody ones. We ordered an assortment of 30 different designs, but turns out, nobody wanted Bob the Builder and those Power Ranger designs. Hahah
Some random funny cartoon I found online. Used it to cheer boyfriend up. He was having a sucky day on Thursday. I personally found the cartoon hilarious.
And last night, just when I was slipping into lala land, dear called and said he was dropping by my place to pass me some 'breakfast for the next day' - I had to attend the Finance and Economics Networking Session at Suntec this morning. So I was like, okay.
When he reached and gave me his sheepish look, I guessed as much it wasn't gonna be 'breakfast for the next day'. Hahaha. But of all things, the last thing I expected was this Lacoste bag.
Yup, it turns out, while he was out with his colleagues yesterday, he got me a polo tee from Lacoste as well. Haha, at this rate, he's gonna spoil me silly.
Nonetheless, the polo's in a nice colour, which I don't own yet. Ally got me a Lacoste polo too, for my birthday last year. In pink! But the new piece is 2 sizes smaller, I lost some weight recently. Haha =)

A long day was spent at Suntec. Walked over to Marina Square to meet dear after the conference ended. Caught Mall Cop, it was funny but I preferred Marley to it.
After the movie ended, we walked around Marina to check out prices of household items like air-conditioner, washing machine, rice cooker at Gain City. Hahah. Don't ask. It was so random.
All these was followed by dinner (or rather supper) at Quality Hotel. Had the porridge buffet! It was super nice and super worth it. For 9 bucks per pax, you can eat till your fill. We didn't have dinner, 'cept for the nachos set at GV so the buffet was a good meal for us.
The dishes were all to my liking, they even had ice kachang and ice cream! Haha

Finally got home around midnight, so tired! It's been a long but fulfilling day. Sunday beckons! Alvin's turning 19 next week, what should I get him?
G'night!
